AMD Mantle Stutter - Oct, 2014

    Mantle is currently in Beta and as such subject to bugs, some users use it without issue while other like yourself have to use DX11 in order to play smoothly. One post on the AMD forums suggested disabling Catalyst from loading at login via the MSCONFIG tool. I did this and noticed improvement. If that doesn't help I recommend using DX11 until the next AMD driver update, and then with the next driver try Mantle again and see if you still experience the issue.

Thanks for the tip. I tried disabling CCC via MSCONFIG and observed no difference at all. I have tried everything at my end to try and improve the stutter and have failed. I will wait until the next driver update.
