"An unknow error has occured: Error Code 1"

So first off I have been a Battflefield and EA player since I was a child. I have seen a imploding and sinking ship of customer service, dishonest offers, apathy towards problems, money whoring, and just genuinely horrible games. 

I have recently been trying to play bf1 with a friend and have had an absolute terrible time trying to play. EA cannot connect to any servers, crashes whenever it does. 

Dont give me nonsense about “is my internet working” “am I plugged in” Don’t be stupid and don’t waste any more of my time. I have a LAN cable connected, every other game works (that’s not EA) and internet flowing at 400 mbps.  Please please fix this * and make an update that doesn’t keep us in limbo. And please please try and right the sinking ship that is EA because I and true fans will leave for good and never look back. True capitalism dictates that we should let you fail if you fail us.
