Are admins allowed to ban me for swearing in the chat?

This is a rant!  Ok, this is not admin abuse, but it feels so out of place I have to adress it. So, I was playing on a good TDM server in Battlefield 4 (PC). No strange weapon bans, admin abuse, or...

    Even if Battlefield is a mature game, offensive language is not tolerated in our boards and if an admin don't want to have players who are using offensive words in his server, it is his right to ban him.

Yeah well maybe they could give a warning. 99% of BF1 servers dont care about profanity and then you swear on the one server that does and BOOM! Banned. Not even a warning.
