12 years agoAre we allowed to use the BF4 theme song as an intro to our Youtube videos?
Hello EA Games,
I own a Youtube channel, in the past 4 months I've starting doing Battlefield 4 videos full time. I love the game and really enjoy making BF4 videos and my channel has really picked up! However I do have some questions for you guys regarding monetization and what not. Firstly I don't monetize my channel but in the near future I do plan on doing so. A Youtuber by the name of 'Laurent Caccia' has made a really nice Battlefield 4 themed intro template which can be found here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBje8UGSJaM
I've been using this intro for my BF4 videos with some changes to the font and what not. My main questions are if we're allowed to use an intro like that in our videos monetized or not? Does that particular intro break any of your rules? Also the music used in that intro is I assume part of the BF4 game so does that give us the right to include it in a BF4 intro for our videos? My main concern is the music used in that intro might be breaking some kind of rule. I know you guys don't give out blanket permissions but I just want to know if we are allowed to create/use BF4 styled intros like the one provided in the link, with the BF4 themed music in the background monetized or not?
Thank you for your time.
Cheers.
