Asus monitor with built in crosshairs?

 I recently bought a Asus VG248QE monitor that has crosshairs built into the monitor which you can turn on and off. Am I able to use this or can I get banned for using this through Punkbuster?

    It looks like as it is completely run by the monitor but we are generally do not recommend to use any kind of application to improve your gameplay. Any kind of issues related to the use of this monitor are out of our hand.

    When you say out of your hand, you mean of course, "EA's hand."  Does that mean that Fairfight will do whatever Fairfight might do?  Would appreciate some clarification if you please.
