Banned countries

hello Im a iranian gamer. As you know, my country is sanctioned by ea and we can't play  your games. I was wondering, what's our fault? Why shouldn't we play your games because our country has a pro...

    I totally understand your frustration and wish we here could help you to get on to play this game together with the rest of us!

    Think also is was very unfortunate, as you even had Iran based gamers who had pre-paid for the game before its release, just to experience on release day that Iran was on the list of select countries that was banned.  This was by the way also the case with previous BF versions.  EA would no doubt enjoy to have offered this game to you if the laws allowed them to do so.

     
    Reality is however that to be in compliance with the US embargoes and sanctions laws, then Origin is not available in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Ukraine (Crimea region).

    (as far as I know at present time, though the list of embargo countries is changing over time).

    So while we would enjoy to welcome more gamers to the BF4 world, then some laws are restricting these game producing companies to offer it to you.
