Battle field 4 bad image error

Whenever I try to launch the battlefield 4 campaign i get an erroor called bf4.exe - Bad Image. From there it says C:\system32\nvspcap64.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. I'm on Windows 7 pro 64 bit.

The other thing is that it allows me to run the game but it hardly runs the sounds choppy and it goes at like 1 fps i know I have a system more than capable of handling this game. i am also downloading the latest drivers for it.

  • This is an nvidia file. Either update to the latest video drivers or remove and reinstall your currently installed most recent drivers.

Make sure you have all important Windows Updates installed, also .Net Framework and C++ Redistributables.
Be sure your audio drivers are up-to-date.
Update motherboard firmware if you are using on-board sound.

Run DXSETUP.exe from this location to be sure all the required DirectX components are installed:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist

  • Hi, I'm so confused... I know that to update drivers you go to device manager, but where in device manager can I install video drivers? Also, what is .Net Framework and C++ Redistributables?

    Thanks
