You need to know your hardware specs.
On Windows, press the Windows logo on your keyboard + R. Then type dxdiag in the popup box and press enter. You'll get an overview of your hardware. Go to the display tab to view your video hardware.

That should give you an idea what drivers you need. It's probably best of you post what device you have so we can guide you towards the correct driver.

Any computer that doesn't have better graphics than an HD 4000 needs a video upgrade, if a desktop, or replacement of the entire machine, if a laptop (laptops have no video upgrade option), else just forget about BF4.
