Battlefield 1 binoculars dont work after picking up weapon

Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Summarize your bug Battlefield 1 binoculars doesn't work after picking up a boxed weapon.Will not work after that through entire story. This happens in all stories
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the story
What happens when the bug occurs? The button does not bring up binoculars or do anything when pressed. I held it as long as 30 seconds.
Please select your region North America
In what game mode did the bug occur? Single Player Campaign
In what Single Player War Story did the bug occur? Through Mud and Blood
AMD or Nvidia Model Number
Enter RAM memory size in GB

There is a fix but it is a hassle each time you use a weapon after you first pick up a new one it drops the binoculars. You then only have a certain number of seconds to pick the binoculars back up before they disappear permanently but then you must carry them everywhere you go for the rest of the mission, always dropping them again when you shoot or use items and then have to remember to pick it back up before it disappears again.
This seems to work for me. 🧐

BUG FIX use the binoculars when you are on the HORSE

This game is so close to being something special. If not for the few bugs. The binoculars bug is annoying and takes some of the strategy out of the game, and the Simplified way The plane flies in campaign (not being able to roll or yaw) Is really bad. Makes it almost unplayable, for me and from what I've seen in forums many others.

@EA_Atic Amazing, almost 3 years on and this bug has still not been fixed. When will ea actually look into it?

I would appreciate a fix for this issue too. I keep getting an in-game hint to press Q to use my binoculars, but it doesn't work. Silly.
