Multiplayer in Trial Version now works for me, after the patch
Same here game loads fine, multiplayer>quickmatch starts loading map and poof back to desktop. I tried disabling dx12 nothing... dx12 worked fine before.
Had played 4 hours on trial before this happened. no error message. running repair to see if it will do something as I'm typing this.
Repair did nothing, also I have renamed the settings folder and still get the same crash.
I am using Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.2 Release on a R7 370 from asus
Now using Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.3 Release, no dice.
So unfortunately EA (David)... this is a costly mistake.
I played through all of the available campaign levels first, and finished with 5 hours remaining on my trial.
So, I went to multiplayer next to seal the deal on my purchase (as I thought the campaign was great). What is it, three days later now I still can't access my trial?
So instead of burning through my five hours on multiplayer and subsequently purchasing the game.... Black Friday is now looming. Why buy now after a broken trial and untested multiplayer, when I can wait 9 more days when you guys inevitably discount the game for Black Friday sales? I could buy the game one hundred times if I felt like it, but it's now the principle of the situation that will keep me from buying now.
Black Friday sales are coming guys, and the game will be on discount then. $$$$$
