So Battlefield 1 has been crashing for me when I try to play multiplayer. When I select a mode (none of them work) and join a game, it stays in "loading level" for about 5 seconds and then crashes without any error message. There is no black screen or anything, it just goes straight to the desktop. I have tried Clean boot, repairing the game and close all background applications but none of these helped. I really don't want to download it again, because my internet speed isn't that good and it will take years.

Singleplayer works fine, around 60fps at medium settings and it doesn't crash or anything.
The only thing that sticks out to me is that your processor is just below the minimum required specs to play BF1, and the minimum specs are the bare bones specs that the devs say will reliably run BF1.

Unfortunately EA have acknowledge it's an issue with Trial accounts :-( they haven't fixed it yet though
- Anonymous9 years agoWell that shouldn't be the case, FX-6350 is factory-overclocked version of FX-6300, and my processor is overclocked to that exact 3,9GHz that 6350 has.

Bought EA Access to try out the multiplayer BF1. Glad (in a way ) that I'm not the only person the trial does not work in multiplayer for, the single player experience is awesome but would really like to try the mp version.
Have cancelled my sub to EA access and I can't see this being resolved any time soon as it's been ongoing for a few weeks now - sigh-
Looks like I'll not be getting this episode of BF, pity as I've had them all up to now.
EA motto "The Needs Of The Many Outweigh The Needs Of The Few" lol.

This problem have been live for how long, a week? More? And still no fix. What a shame to be honest.
I had a blast trough the Single Player, the game feels amazing and the two maps we got to test was epic! Really loved to get back to that old World War feeling I've been missing for some years now.
But this * is beyond me. EA and DICE isn't some small part time firm working from a garage, put someone on it and get it fixed if you don't want to lose more customers.
