Battlefield 1 ea account

Do I need to purchase an ea account to play battlefield online or can I just set up a free ea account and play online? I am using xbox 1 and I have gold membership.

As for the above question. No, you do not need to buy an EA Account/Origin account to play BF1 online on Xbox One. You do however need the gold membership on Xbox One to be able to fully play BF1 but from EA side no additional purchases are needed.

All you need to do is link your accounts once you set it up and you should be set to go. See this page here on how to do that: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag .

No you do not need to purchase a EA account to play Batllefield 1 on Xbox you have the membership and it's free to make an EA account so have fun playing Battlefiled 1! Thanks!

Hello soccer dude, I hope you are doing well. To play Battlefield 1 you do not need to purchese an account. You can sign up for free. The only thing you would need to have is Xbox Live. Which you have. Hopefully this helped soccerdude. I would greatly approve the it if you can grant me 1 XP. Thank you and I hope to see you on the Battlefield.

I believe you have to form an EA account (which has too be free) in order to play Battlefield 1.
