Nothing immediately rings a bell.
Looking at the list I only see two items that are potentially related:
* Addressed issue where AppLocker fails to block binaries with revoked certificates.
=> maybe the bf1 binary is being blocked?
* Security updates to Windows COM, Windows SMB Server, Windows server, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge.
=> this is of course very vague so maybe it has something to do with it
All the other bullets seem completely unrelated.
Are there any parameters I can pass to bf1.exe to maybe get more logging and find out more?
Right now if I install KB4019472 and launch bf1.exe (either directly or via the Origin app), I see the process start (it's visible in the task manager), but after a few seconds it just quits again.
As I mentioned before, I don't get any errors and the logs also don't contain anything that strikes me as relevant.
