Battlefield 1 forces new game at launch

Greetings people. I have come across a very irritating problem with my installation of Battlefield 1. It appears the game fails to save any campaign progress whenever I quit or fails to load progress...

Ok I have found a fix and it isn't pretty. After struggling a couple weeks dealing with this issue and finding other players having the same issue I have come up with this solution. By making another windows account on the same PC it had eliminated the issue. I have multiple hard drives including an SSD. The way I like to configure my PC is to route my USER files into my "Spare HDDs". The Battlefield 1 save is designed to be saved into the Documents folder ("My Documents" for windows 7 and prior). I have tried changing the locations for the document folders and run the game and client in administrator mode and never came up with a success. Then I decided to make a WindowsTemporary "Test" account and then launched BF1 with the cloud save that was made when this whole debacle began. After achieving this I have decided to route my document folders again into the HDDs, installed the client and moved everything from the former USER account to the new one (this was a risky task). After confidently moving everything over into the new account with familiar location settings, the game now runs like it should be!! If anyone else is having this expeirince I hope you find a better solution to all of this but for now this is functional and I am pretty happy with it.
