Have you also tried disabling the Origin In-Game Overlay in the Origin Launcher?
This has been known to cause a few issues as well, regarding low frames.

I turned this option since i downloaded Origin ( years ago ) ...
Still these icons there ☹️ Thank god i was in Trial Version because i was going to buy it

Hey @j0kep0ke,
Do me a favor.
When you're in your Origin Library, right click on Battlefield 1, and go to Game Properties.
Make sure that the the check box for "Enable In Game Overlay for Battlefield 1" is empty, and not checked.
Then, do a repair, and restart your Game.
