battlefield 1 intel driver error

Hey, i used to play a lot of BF1, but some days ago i decided i should play it again, the problem is whenever i try to launch it, it shows me a dialog box saying i dont have the latest driver, which is "xxx.xxx.4539" ???, i doesn't make any sense, why would it check your drivers just with the last 4 digits of it. Since I have an i3-10105, I have no drivers that exceed the xxx.xxx.4539, does anyone have a solution?

  • Hi @belchixr,

You have to roll back to an old Intel driver version, the reason for that is because the game reads the last 4 digits of the driver version. The last 4 digits of your driver version is 2114 which is less than 4539, so the game assumes that you have an older version of the driver than what is recommended for the game.

Uninstall the game then download and install the driver version: 30.0.100.9955 (this is the last driver version before 100 changes to 101 and the last 4 digits start from 1000). Finally, install the game again. Here's a link to the download center: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/677976/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.htm...

Hope this helps. Please update after trying this.

  • Hey, thanks for the help, but I can't roll back to an older driver version because it is not compatible with my uhd 630, I can only install driver versions that are 31.101.xxxx, which dont have any driver above xx.xx.4539.

@belchixr, I'm sorry but unfortunately, there is nothing you can do other than getting a dedicated GPU to play the game.

Battlefield 1 requires a dedicated GPU and not an integrated GPU part of the CPU.

    Minimum Requirements

    Spoiler
    OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
    Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
Processor (Intel): Intel Core i5 6600K
    Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
    Hard-drive space: 50GB
  • My pc fills the minimum requirements, not only that, as i used to play this game on my old intel i3 4th gen, with 8gb ram, no graphics card. EA simply doesn't want to have the work to remove this stupid drivers checking system, or that or make it work.
