Battlefield 1 mouse lag

Hi there ! Im experiencing a really bad input lag in Bf1 since it is released , This problem got worse after april update if i remember correctly. I dont have any issues in other shooters(in bf3-4 as well).THe problem is with bf1.I got raw input on . Origin overlay off.Dx12 disabled.

So it is like mouse is getting slower and back to normal while i am turning or aiming so i dont actually have constant mouse sensivity . It feels like i turn only on half of the distance i had to turn . So it ruins my BF1 game experience . I could play fine in beta  and I didnt experience this problem so often in previous updates . I saw many guys on forums with the same problem and a really powerful rigs.

So bf1 is unplayable for me . Can you please help me ?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hey @NO0OBIE,

Sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing.

I'm glad you tried disabling Origin In-Game Overlay and Dx12, I was going to mention that.

Have you tried updating the Drivers for your Mouse? (If it's a gaming mouse)

Also, do you have any sort of Mouse Acceleration enabled on Windows?

I would also try performing a Clean Boot on your PC as well.

Please try these steps and keep us posted.

    Have a good weekend.

    Thanks 🙂

Well ,clean boot did the trick ! Im so surprised,i thought i dont have any soft that would ruin my gaming) Guess the problem was with Process Lasso ,i used it to set priorities to processes with "priority problems ". But i cant figure out if the lag is gone totally or just significantly. But still my gameplay got much better .

Unfortunately , my rig is too "potato" to give 60+ fps ,so i guess a little part of lag is because of poor fps .

Thank you so much ! )

  • potential fix if this entire issue if it occurs again for anyone again. switching the polling rate of my mouse from 1000 to 500 fixed the issue

Sorry for reviving an old topic but if anyone ever has the same issue, this is what fixed it for me!

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 1 , please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
