Battlefield 1 not launching

    Update: I tried to run the game through the .exe in the steamapps\common and I got an activation issue (0xc000007b). I searched the solutions for this and what worked for me was going to my windows search bar, typing "add or remove programs". From there I found all the "Microsoft Visual C++ " stuff, hit left click, modify and repair. (Some of them couldn't be modified but it doesn't matter). After repairing all that could be repaired I launched Battlefield 1 and it worked!

    I tried the same thing but it won't budge for me, it still says "preparing game" and then opens EA, and the game doesn't launch.

    You are a god among men! Had this issue for about a week, tried all of the common fixes, thought hope was lost but tried this and et voila! All hail Achy!
