Hey. I bought BF1 through Steam recently as it was on sale. I have downloaded the game, but it won't launch. When I try to open it on steam, it does nothing.
DICE TeamI think I found a SOLUTION for the Steam version
Go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 1
Right key on "bf1.exe"
Go to "Compatibility" tab and UNtick "Execute as admin"
Then start the game as usual.
I solved it ..
1 ) I opened steam and tried to launching the game but failed to launch BF1 through EA APP ...
2 ) I closed EA APP .... updated ORIGIN app ... klicked launch from steam and it worked.
Since Origin has been entirely phased out from windows it seems like, is there any fix? I own the game on steam and not from the EA app and nothing i can do solves this issue.
Did you fresh install the game on EA App then ?
I had purchased the game during sale through steam, but it doesn't launch when I start it. I had earlier uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but still I'm facing the exact same issue. It's not even showing on my collection in the EA app, and it says that I haven't purchased the game. Someone please advise me on this matter. @EA_Atic
I'm having similar issues, except I noticed all my games are missing from my library on the ea app.
I re installed Origin and my games shows backed up in my library, but I still can't seem to play anything battlefield
same for me! The server connection of EA is always bad, I don't know why.@EA_Atic
I've tried this, and it launches the game, but 1min just in the menu the game crashes, EA how to fix this ?
