Battlefield 1 [PC] Operations game mode can't find servers

Could you please elaborate your answer a little bit because I'm living in India and I'm facing the exact same issue. I havent been able to play a single operations game for over a month now because I always end up in an empty server no matter what time of the day it is. I just hope the game isn't dying just yet. It's been just 6 months since it was released. I'd be really disappointed if that many players were leaving...

  The game's not dying, at least not that I have seen, the thing is that, for now, the search system restricts you from joining other regions servers even if they have places available for you to play, despite having a higher ping. This way, if the Operations on your region are full, and there are Operations servers in other regions with player slots available and somehow acceptable ping, but it would still drop you on an empty operations server on your region for some reason like there was no other server with player available.
  I truly hope they fix this next patch, I yearn to play The Devils anvil and Beyond the Marne

If they are aware of this why create a mission if operations are broken?
Im a bit of a completionist and would like to do this mission. Any suggestions?
