I moved your post to the BF1 thread.

To post in the right topic first click on "All Boards"

Then you can choose your game.

Hey @holger1405, thanks for moving this Thread, appreciate that.

    Hey @iviljak,

I see that you're using an i3 Processor, which may be the cause for some of the FPS drops that you're having.

Please check the minimum specs for Battlefield 1 listed below:

    The minimum spec:

    • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
    • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
    • Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
    • Memory: 8GB RAM
    • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
    • Graphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
    • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
    • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
    • Hard-drive space: 50GB

Also, please try turning off the Origin In-Game Overlay, as that can cause some FPS issues as well.

But, I'm quite sure that your processor is holding you back from getting the best performance, considering Battlefield 1 is very CPU heavy.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks 🙂

@iviljak Said that the game used to have good performance even when using i3 processor. It is not the problem with hardware at all (at least it is not the root of the problem). I am experiencing these problems too. That is why I also wrote about my problems. It appears even on platforms with i7 processors with 1080ti graphic cards. The more patches in this game, the more problems with performance appear. Have you heard about the Apple issue in which they intentionally slowed down their older iPhones in order to influence sales of the new ones? When will the Battlefield V be released? ;-)

NO MY CPU ISN'T THE PROBLEM, first of all i can a hand full of games without those issues even GTA V i can get smooth 45-55 fps ultra same goes with the witcher 3 which runs at 58 fps at ultra and now your telling me that my cpu can't run this game at lowest settings ? plus i've already mentioned that it used to run at smooth 60+ fps with no problem ...

The older battlefield games, GTA V and The Witcher 3 are games with system requirements way beneath BF1.

Hey @iviljak one easy way to take a look to see where the issue is.

    1. Start task manger up and go to the performance tab keep it open.
    2. if you have second screen drag this window there.
    3. Start battlefield 1 and find a populated server.
    4. Play a few minuets.
    5. Take a look on the performance window, is anything maxed out?
