I have a Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb card, an intel i5 4950 3.30ghz, and 16 gigs of ram and I can barely get 20 fps out of battlefield 1 on the lowest settings. My CPU and GPU load never go over 50% while running the game and are often near 30% yet the game is so slow that it is unplayable. The 1060 is the recommended card for BF1, why is it unable to run it?
Do you get this issue on other games? Or is it only Battlefield 1?
Maybe it's using your integrated graphics instead of your dedicated GPU, which is still possible.
I have a 1060 too, it's the 3 gig variant and I can run BF1 on ultra at 2560x1080 without any performance issues.
I'm interested in which processor you have. I have a 1070 with an FX 8350. Clearly there is a bottleneck there but not enough to give me 20-50 FPS on medium to low settings at 1080p.

are the latest drivers installed and not beta drivers? What kind of operating system do you use? Win10? If so, check if the game mode is off.

I am really sorry for those issues with the game. Can you try to perform a clean reinstallation of your GPU drivers? In some cases, this can significantly improve game`s performance. Let us know how it goes.

Yes I've done a wipe and re-install of my drivers, re-installed battlefield, and had no luck. Star Wars battlefront runs at 70-80 FPS on high but battlefield 1 runs around 20 fps on low. The GPU usage hangs around 50% and the CPU usage is always less than 30% on BF1. Battlefront uses much more than that. How do I get Battlefield 1 to make full use of my PC like battlefield does?
And yes I have GPU restriction turned off in the game settings.
I can run the 2015 battlefront on high at 70 fps, its just battlefield 1 that has the issue.
I have an i5 4950 3.3ghz, I don't think that its a bottleneck because the game never goes over 34% CPU usage, let alone 100%.
The isse is the game, bad developed, 6700k and GTX 1070 here and still got sutter, GG programmers!!!!!
