Battlefield 1 rental server minimum requirements

If I rent a server why is there a minimum amount of people required to start a match? If I paid for a server I would like to be able to start a private match with as many players as I wanted. Or are s...

@liquidsnakemeat These changes were made for the servers to avoid boosting and team disbalance. Also, I recommend to check your server settings again, perhaps you missed the ability that allows you to do 1vs1 server.

Thank you for the reply. I haven't actually rented a server in a while and and couldn't get it to suit my needs. I will be checking it out once again though. It would mean a great deal if there were some sort of list of all the things you can do and the minimum/maximum amount of players for each game mode were readily available for people that were interested in renting a server. When we did have one we didn't have enough friends to start a game and auto population just wasn't working, although I would like to keep it private for say around 5-6 guys to play amongst each other. Basically a list of all of the standard features and requirements. There is very little info on it to be found in my experience. Thanks for your help.
