Battlefield 1 Stuck at %97 Error Code: 196620:131086

My battlefield 1 download will not continue past 97%.

I have tried reinstalling Origin.

Updating to beta client.

Running Origin as administrator.

Using CCleaner to clean.

Disabling firewalls.

Adding exception to Origin in firewall.

Reinstalling game completely.

I really don't know what to do at this point and if it won't fix I'm tempted to try and get a refund.

Hi @Vastrella

DO NOT stop the download.

Click on the word Origin at the top of the client window.

Click on Diagnostics in the panel that opens.

Turn Safe Mode Downloading ON.

Exit Origin completely.

Run Origin as Administrator.

When you start Origin and, log in again, your download shouls automatically resume close to where it stalled and, complete.

Thank you very much, started downloading immediately. I contacted EA tech support before making this post and the guy couldn't figure it out either. Maybe they have a position open lol.

@DarkAmaranth1966 Thank you so much! The EA tech support had me do something that didn't work at all. This worked perfectly and quickly!

As per October 2020 and in a different game, i had that 97% stuck, the Turn Safe Downloading option not there anymore or i am simply blind, but exiting Origin as said and simply restarting in in Admin fixes also the issue, download resumes. Thanks!
