Good evening, after the last update the game experiences constant fps drops and stuttering, especially when aiming, this did not happen before the update, I tried to play closing everything, msi afterburner and other programs in the background and it remains the same.my pc is an i5 7600msi rx 480 gaming x 8gb gpu16 gb ram

I've got the same issue: frame drops straight out of hell. Playing BF1 (and BF5) is almost impossible this way.This is after the anti-cheat update. All software is up-to-date.

I have 2000 hours of gameplay with this build, since I got it. It's 2000, not 200. I have never, ever, had any problem playing the game on my settings (1080p + low). This started happening a few days ago. I have the exact same problem since a few days ago. Right after the anti-cheat update performance was fine but now it's unplayable.Been playing this game since 2016, but at no point I experienced issues like that.Build is an i5 6600k @ 4,6 GHz, 16 Gb RAM and a GTX 1070 SC. Old but did the job for 1080p.

Never had any issue with performance whatsoever until the anti-cheat update.It is unplayable now due the stuttering.In the game I have huge peaks of 'extr offset' every time the game stutters or freezes for a sec (see picture)There is an old article about 'extr offset' here: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-fix-lag-spikes-and-micro-freezes-battlefield-1Pay attention to the graph the next time you experience a micro-freeze. If the Extr Offset line spikes during the freeze, you'll know you're suffering from this specific disk usage problem. Disabling non-Microsoft services should clear things up and get you back to smooth gaming.And guess which service is a in the list of these WIndows services... 'anticheat'.It is also exactly the same stuttering when playing single player by the way. Even with very low graphics settings.The anti-cheat is always running and seems to be causing this disk memory leak.Stopping anti-cheat service kills the game so no option for that.Come on EA. I only play 1 game, it is my guilty pleasure after work. Don't ruin this please.Best Regards,Dave

Having the same issue here. Sadly the game in unplayable as is right now... it happens twice a minute or so.

In related to BF 6 topics people also talk about stutters after anti cheat update, many of them say stutters appear after pressing buttons on keyboard + mouse movement. I have 10850 k 32 gb Ram and 3080, I have not stutters until new anti cheat was implemented...please, help us, investigate that issue and optimize anticheat

Things that helped me, was to deactivate shader-cache size in the nvidia control panel. Game needs to load a little bit longer and the start of the match is a bit laggy, but no more problems with low fps during the match. Best is also to delete the old files in the nvidia cache folder. Also found out that when pushing certain buttons the fps drops instantly and at the same time gpu load decreases to only 20+ % from 97-99 %.

I tried reinstalling the anticheat, reinstalling the game, downloading the anticheat installer directly from EA installer; nothing fixed this issue. The game still stutters like crazy, literally unplayable

Ive updated anticheat via installers from game folder (fresh download) and via separate installer from ea website. But I still experienced some sttuters in game. Im not sure what version of anticheat I use:
Anticheat Game Service Launcher: file version 1.0.16412.0 , product version 1.0.6832156
AntiCheat Installer: file version 1.0.16412.0, product version 1.0.6832156 (from game folder)
Anticheat Installer (from ea website) - file version 1.0.7554.0, product version 1.0.11804034
How I can get version with fix for stutters?

Confirm issue. Updatig Anticheat makes game work better, but this doesn't solve the problem.

I am still struggling with this problem now. Game used to run fine before, with the odd frame drop here and there but nothing as significant as right now with such freezing too (all on low settings). Disappointing.
I have a 1650 and a 9th gen i7 cpu, 16GB RAM, game installed on nvme SSD.

Ciao ragazzi, dopo aver sbattuto la testa x giorni e giorni, ho capito che è l'anticheat e ho risolto disattivando tutte le app di sovrapposizione di gioco. Tipo After burner di msi , riva tuna server statistics, discord e reinstallando GeForce experience e disinstallando GeForce app. Da pannello di controllo della scheda video ho messo tutto su prestazioni. Da 30 FPS sono tornato a 100-200 FPS in game in media sui 120 FPS. In pratica l'anticheat vede le app di sovrapposizione in gioco come cheat. Difatti non mi spiegavo come mai da GeForce play non ci fossero cali ma solo da scheda video (GTX 1070 mobile)! Ora gioco con la scheda video che è una bellezza. Ho anche disinstallato l'ultimo driver Nvidia game ready e fortuna che mi ricordavo che driver avevo prima !

AntiCheatWardJust played for a few minutes. And the game run just like when the first AntiCheat update patch a.k.a so much lags and stutters even in random no player area! I know this is an old game product of yours, but Please FIX this for maintain your loyal Battlefield players.
