Battlefield 1 won't start, doesnt give error

Whenever I hit play nothing happens, the game appears in the task manager for a couple seconds then disappears. I've tried restarting my computer, repairing the game, reinstalling the game and deleting the 10 files in the Origin Games file. Nothing seems to work :/

Three days later (edited), we finally have a much-delayed response from one of the first pair, @Busseyboy012,  who is trying to run this with an out of date version of Windows 7, that has not had the required Service Pack installed for it

       Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)

  • I tried all of the steps listed here as well as all of the steps on the EA forums and still I can't start BF1.

BF4 will run fine as well as BFV, but not BF1. Multiple reinstalls of the game and Origin but it doesn't fix the issue.

I hope this game is not broken for me forever.

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 1, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
