Battlefield 1942™ Patch Problem

I've just downloaded Battlefield 1942™ from Origin and went on to download the latest patch to be able to play online. 
The patch keep telling me "Setup couldn't find an Battlefield 1942 installation." 
I think that's because I changed Origin's Games Folder to a custom one, On an External Hard Drive.
