Battlefield 1942 Mac

I downloaded the game from origin yet it downloaded the windows version, and only says the game is available for Windows. The website siad it was mac compatible, yet i cannot find the version for Mac...

    Okay I hope I can clear the confusion about the MAC version a little bit. There is no OsX version of the "free" BF1942 client available. This free version is a special gameclient, it is not compatible with the original version of BF1942 (or the expansions) even if it's the same game. Unfortunately, you can get a disk version of the game for OsX but we have no "free" gameclient at the moment.

    The publishing information on our BF1942 website says "PC download, MAC", which means the disk version of the game. By the way,  I can totally understand that it is a bit confusing.
