I really wish EA would spend a few hours and do a fix for Battlefield 1942 for Windows 8 and wide screen.  there are still thousands of loyal 1942 players that are left in the cold because they have new computers and cant plant 1942.  

I have tried the 100 workarounds  that people have suggested online without any luck and it is very frusturating.  Please EA dedicate a small team to get this patched for the Origin Battlefield 1942 game!
