To community manager of EA GAMES.
No message for 8 days for a major failure. You have no respect for players of BF 1943.
I have never seen a customer service like yours.
We'll never buy another EA GAMES.

I hope this lack of attention by EA is noticed and remembered when they ask you to buy Battlefield 4.
- Anonymous12 years agoLooks like EA CEO Larry Probst is doing a GREAT job of demonstrating to players "why they should spend theor time with EA." Kill their game, treat them like crap, and ignore them, and they will come, right Mr. "Profits over People" Probst?. Nancy should be ashamed.

Its only been about a day since their last response, although they have not provided us with any type of information beyond that they are aware of the situation and trying to resolve it... 8 days ago.
An update on the status of the issue would be a good thing. I already have invested $10 into purchasing damaged goods at this point, along with having issues with other EA games (The Sims 3, SimCity comes to mind), I do not see a reason to continue to purchase any more games from EA in the future if I am forced to get a refund through Microsoft.

I think that's the rub here. EA may decide as a result of the tenacity of this problem that BF43 isn't worth fixing. But the necessary result of that is that BF43 gets pulled.
Bad way to go if that's the way they're tending, because not only is that a significant loss of revenue because they're not allocating enough attention to what's probably an obscure but simple fix, they're generating a boatload of ill will in the meantime. How many people have said they won't buy BF4 or another EA game as a result of this? I can't say I don't feel the same way. And how many new purchasers are having to go through Microsoft for refunds?
For EA, this issue spills out beyond BF43. They really need to get this under control by fixing it, not by shoving it aside, putting a lid on it, or pulling the title. But we also need to be mature about our criticism if we want to be taken seriously. I know it shouldn't come to that, but it's good form anyway.
