BATTLEFIELD 2 - Server has refused the connection

Sorry to include this in the BF3 topics but I couldn't actually do it in the BF2 since there is no such product to select. Anyway, this is an old error or at least I understood so from the forums ...

I just installed a new SSD in my Dell XPS 15 laptop and reinstalled BF2, BF3, BF4 and so on ....no I get the same problem. I installed DirectX and Punkbuster brandnew and so on, got my computer scanned for virusses and adware and windows is up to date on Win7. What else can I do??
