Battlefield 2 Complete Collection CD Key Invalid (No BF2CC product, so here.)

Dear EA Answers, 

I would like your help with some of the issues that I have with BF2 via Digital Download.

(I have updated the game to  v1.5.3153)

I purchased the Battlefield 2 Complete Collection, and installed it. I am not on the administrator account on the machine, but installing games with Origin hasn't given me any problems like this before. The game installs properly and runs the Punkbuster updates. When I launch the game, I created my account fine and moved on to join a multiplayer match. I was told that my CD key was invalid. Two of my friends also installed BF2, and said that there was no problems with their CD key, and that the game never asked them for it.

Determined to get my money's worth, I started to look into DIY fixes for BF2 CD keys.

I tried opening 'regedit' and replacing the string of nonsense in the ergc for both BF2 and BF2SF with the key that was shown in Origin.

I tried the BF2KeyChanger application provided by GermanDarkness, as many people reported it was successful in fixing their problems.

I saw that  some people ran the  Battlefield 2_code application, so I tried the same. Nothing came up, and when I checked the 'SupportXP1' folder for a CD key checker for the Special Forces Booster Pack, but I found nothing. Just the readme for all the cool stuff in SF.

I am getting confused and discouraged, and would love for someone to be a hero and help me out.
