[Battlefield 2] Complete Collection in Origin

Hi.

I ordered Battlefield 2 Complete Collection in Origin.  But I see after the download is started only Bf2, not Special forces.

I launched  Special forces usign "BF2.exe"+playNow 1 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/xpack +ignoreAsserts 1.  But in this case i I can `t connect to servers.

  • Hello a9d1,

The easiest way to access Battlefield 2: Special Forces would be to launch Battlefield 2 via Origin, login with your Battlefield 2 account and the click on the Community Button.  Once there, click Custom Games and select the "xPack" game (should be labelled as "Battlefield 2: Special Forces") and then click Activate in the lower right corner of the screen.  You will then be asked to restart the game, once complete you should find that you have access to the Secial Forces content.

I'm assuming you applied those launch options directly to a shortcut for Battlefield 2, and in theory I believe it should work, though the only part of it required to launch as Special Forces would be the "+modPath mods/xpack" bit.  You could try removing the rest to see if that method yields results, but if it does not please do follow my instructions above as that should definitely allow you access to the Special Forces content.
