Battlefield 2 Not launching in windows 7 32bit

people i need help battlefield 2

Specification:-

windows 7 32 bit

Asus p5kpl-vm Intel Core 2 Duo E7200

2gb Ram

Nvivida Geforce Gt 610

when i click on game it blinks but does not launch tried every trick in the book

changed compatibility but no change

changed video.con setting but no change

guyzzz pls helpp nice game but no choice want to play but cant play

i had the same problem but then i reinstalled patch 1.4 and then the game worked. then i installed 1.5. if that doesnt work then i cant help you any further
