Battlefield 2 serial code. (PC)

So, I recently bought battlefield 2 bad company on steam, and when it gave me the serial number to put into the game, I said "Copy to clipboard." when I hit ctr+V, NOTHING HAPPENS. I spent $20.00 on this game, and I expected for it to work...

oh god, that's weird...i think the only way to solve this is contact EA CEO...he's the only person that can help you out.

You should contact Valve (Steam) for support with it's Steam product.

(p.s. you could always try typing the key!)
