Anyone get around this yet? I ran into it as well after installing from Origin. It is like the Activation server is shut down. I thought that the GameSpy shutdown was on the 30th. Did they shut it down early and if so is this the effect of that?

When I looked into file "DMLEGACY_Core_Log.html" in folder "C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs" I saw almost in the bottom of the file this message: "Login attempt rejected due to invalid DIP path configuration. Base Install Dir: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games"
When I checked my computer in folder "C:\Program Files (x86)" I did not have folder "Origin Games" so I created the folder, started BF2142 again, wrote my activation info and then BF2142 started.So I guess on my old installation I had that folder when BF2142 worked and not on my new installation or it have been removed with an Origin update.

Confirming today that this still works for this error for MOH: Airborne.
