Battlefield 2142 level progression impossible

I've bought BF2142 about a week ago, after having many issues with patches, got it to work, then had a lot more problems relating connectivity and latency with servers, and finally I can play more or less decently BUT the experience that lets me level up is just missed on practically 4/5 matches I play, for example on the last one I got:

Start: 480/520 Career Points

Rewards board at the end of the match: 540/520 Career Points

540 out of 520??? this should not be next level +20 points???

Then I left the server and checked my stats and I was at 480 again, it's is very annoying specially when playing for about a week and being still rank 4, when I should be about 8 or 10 at least if I got all the points I gained , what can I do to get it working?

PD: Playing matches on different servers does not solve the problem... well 20% of the matches add my career points if I'm lucky.
PPD: Where the hell are the support forums for BF2142, the box has a big EA symbol and you dont even have it on your list.
