My fix, at least temporary was to turn off win 8 taskbar on 2nd Screen,
which is weird since turning off whole 2nd screen didnt work O.o
Hello. I am getting this problem. Luckily I got to see this error. This is what it says.DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: Device hung due to badly formed commands.. GPU: "AMD Radeon HD7800 Series", Driver:14.12 AMD Catalyst Omega Software (14.501.1003-141120a-177998C). Please help. I was just getting blue screen of death but now if I can only play for like 2 minutes, I will start to hate BattleField3. And i havee been a long time player, playing BAttlefield since BattleField 1942. I have tried to see if I had NIVIDA drivers, did so I uninstalled them, still didnt work. I Reinstalled my drivers and it still didnt work. I tried what said what fixed it, but nothing happened. Now my friend said it does that because its like a warning that my divers are really overheated and the program will shut to coll them down. Now, this is true because my computer is easily over 100 degrees. I just keep playing, and eventually I got to play for a long time. I dont know how long because I got hungry and had to eat but, im geussing I get to play about for an hour.
UPDATE: So I think how to emp. fix it. Tihs might not happen, it might. Your playing Battlefield right? You get the error. Join again, and you might be able to play up to 3-6 hours. I got off at 3 hours one time, for I had to go somewhere, and I got off at 5:40 something. I got bored of playing and wanted to exercise. Anyway hope this helps. Also If quit Bf3 and try to go back after the second try, you MUST restart your computer. I have to do this with all my games if they are acting up.
