battlefield 4 - cannot unlock UCAV (no air supperiority servers)

I was sent here from a EA Player Help Services (Papinder) who has requested I present my issue here ... instead of its case number (Case #169952874) Here is the question, Hi, I purchased a battlef...

Hi @F3AR_Combat You'll just need to keep an eye on the server browser for active Air Superiority servers. They do appear every now and again - it's how I unlocked the UCAV a couple of years ago. People also occasionally rent servers to unlock DLC items like this and post on places like Reddit to try finding players, so you may also want to check there. You could also try doing the same.

The shortcut kits do not unlock DLC items so don't buy one of those if the only things you want to unlock are things like the UCAV. Moreover, EA Help cannot just give you the gadget unfortunately.

so if there is never again ... a  air superiority server ... then I may never have the UCAV?

    @F3AR_Combat That would be a possibility, yes. The game is over 10 years old now, so there will be some things which are not easily obtainable.

    However, there are still people renting servers to unlock DLC items, so you may be able to track them down with a bit of searching.
