try this You should check your event log if there is anything related to nvstream, if so:
open start type cmd than
sc stop "NvStreamSvc"
sc config "NvStreamSvc" start= disabled
if it doesnt help
sc delete "NvStreamSvc"
or if you dont have a shield just go to control panel / add remove and get rid of NVIDIA Virtual Audio and never install this again unless you have a SHIELD.
guys.... none of the maybes, work arounds, and so called fixes help. i tried them all in the past few days since the launch.
the game just starts... sound loop, freezes, and then gives a BSOD. that's it..
there's an even longer thread on this forum titled "Battlefield 4 keeps crashing on PC". it's about 120 pages over 1000 posts now. http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/Battlefield-4-keeps-crashing-on-PC/td-p/1724995/page/127 people have tried every so called fixes out there. it's not the user, it's the @#$%$ game.
everyone is there is complaining the same sound loop, freeze, crash, with a few folks like me having BSOD after it. there's nothing to FIX on our end, nothing we can do. EA needs to patch their game.
i do have to say tho, 64 player maps tend to cause crash the most, 32 seems to be fine. i didn't run into any crashing or BSOD last night and the night before on any 32 player maps. crashed once on a 48 player map, and many times on 64 player maps. and yes, i already tried all the so called fixes, work arounds, and maybes out there.
