I agree it's a bad experience. BUT I also think we all are too impatient for a main fix...Let's wait for 1 or 2 months for a fix to be released. I am sure that every user, in every game faces problems in the beggining. Believe me! Battlefield 4 will play perfect in April. Just wait.
In April? are you serious? Look I don't mean any disrespect, but I think I am being patient. I paid for the Premium version and have been trying to play for a few months now. I understand a few bugs here and there..I can even handle glitches and such..but getting amped up in the middle of a round only to get a black screen and a BS error notice is infuriating.
I tried to contact support today and even got bounced out of that lol..
I dunno.. I wish I had waited to make the purchase.. I suppose that is where I went wrong. EA can count on me not buying any more of their products until I can confirm they are stable..
Updating Punkbuster often fixes this error.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and select pbsv.exe . Choose 'reinstall'

But then, chances are some other error might come along after that which could simply be crap servers and something you have no control over!
Hey Pooh.. almost immediately after i made my last post.. it dawned on me I hadn't checked PB in a while and I did in fact go and update it.
I went back to the server and it crashed me out again lol.
I will try a few other servers and see if I can get any kind of consistant play time in before I get too pissed off and walk away . I took some time off work today and hoped to get some gaming in.. this is another source of my frustration... lol
A 'trick' that works sometimes is to click TEST RANGE and let it load for a second or two and then selct a multiplayer server and go to it.
Again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! I will say that it did work every time for me when I had problems before.
PS: double check that PnkBsterA.exe *32 is running in your Taskmanager Processes. If it's not then Punkbuster IS the problem and you just need to correctly install it.
