when i play bf4 no matter the quality 90 fps normal but after less than min in game my fps starts dropping like crazy from 90 to 4-15 for a second and then back up my pc is fx 8320, 7870 ti 8 gigs of ram watercooled cpu gpu card doesn't go more than 60C i tried to stop cpu from parking cores i oc-ed a few times nothing i don't know what to do this is happening since the game came out for pc
I have the same exact problem, and this started about 4 days ago with no new patch. It also effects my BF3 which is very unusual as I've never had problems with that game. Nothing works, updating PB doesn't help, changing files and running commands don't change the outcome. My game will stall no matter what, and the best part is BF4 doesn't run my GPU at anything higher than 70%. Major fail on DICE I must say
i know a lot of people suggest this, but since none of you said you tried it i thought maybe it'll help:
Video Card Drivers - always make sure you have the latest. If you already do, uninstall them, and do a clean re-install. if that doesent help try a previous version of drivers. if you're still out of luck start looking at updates for other components (chipset, BIOS, etc.) -i had this issue and for me the BIOS update did the trick, i have no idea why and how, but at least it works now :D

i don't have dlc so in every default map and updating drivers 'doesn't work i don't thing there is a point of saying that i updated all of them + bios also sometimes server kicks me because of too high ping but my ping is about 30 for germany or smth close to balkans and in bf3 i've never been kicked for ping my router is new my internet is kinda a ok 50Mbps my lan card is fine
Here are some of the options that have worked for me and others here on the forum:
1. For AMD GPU users disable Catalyst from loading at bootup via MSCONFIG. This was a solution posted on the AMD forums and seems to help some people.
2. Disable origin in game as it's causes lag problems. To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.
3. If you have the Raptr game tracking program running kill the process before playing BF4, this solved my randome FPS drops even on Dragon's Teeth maps.
4. If you are using MSI afterburning turn it off as some users report that it isn't playing well with BF4.
5. For Win8 users try running BF4 in Win7 compatibility mode. Right click on bf4.exe, select "Properties", then "Compatibility" and then choose run as Win7.

I have done everything, other games like arma3 run normally.

Thanks Rage, can you hit the button "save all information" and then past the contents of the text file into your message reply? We may be able to see something from the text file even if not problems are reported.
