If you buy the physical copy of BF4 all that happens when you 'download' is that it verifies all the files on your disc. It shouldn't take too long.
You firewall could be blocking install or your internet connection. Check both.
How exactly do you install it? Do you start the setup from the DVD?
Hi, yes you start from the DVD. You just put in Disc 1 and it should begin auto-install.
If it doesn't start automatically then go to START icon on your desktop and type in the search bar D:\AutoRun.exe, then click OK.
When disc 1 is finsihed installing you'll be told to insert Disc 2, 3 etc.
You also need to be connected to the internet whle doing this so Origin can verify your files.
Whole thing should take about 30 minutes tops.
