Battlefield 4 keeps crashing after naval strike patch

Hello

So i the launched bf4 the day naval strike was supposed to come out and there was a small patch. After this patch i have not been able to play the game. After i join a server it crashes after 3 seconds in game. I also don't have the user.cfg file so that workaround won't work. If any of you have a solution please help because i was enjoying the game again ☹️

Pieter

  • Lets just try the basics first:

    • Repair the game and the expansions in Origin
    • Remove the settings folder inside the Battlefield 4 folder in documents
    • (Re)instal the latest graphics +other drivers
    • Post the errormessage from the Windows event viewer

  • I get stuck either in a never ending loading screen or "battlefield 4 stopped working" since NS was released, core maps are working fine though.

I tried what is listed above, and I also tried deleting NS files and redownloading, and deleting the update file and redownloading, nothing.

    this is the error message.

Found my problem, it was my sound card, I had to remove the x-fi card out of the pc. remove all creative software, go to my bios and, activate the onbord sound card, get the latest drivers from gigabyte, and disable all the geforce sound cards too.

First I had just disabled the onboard card and removed the drivers, and disabled the nv sound card, and used the x-fi but some how that must have made a conflift with kernel-power. 41(63)

Its desepointing that i'll have to use the onbord card but i solved the biggest issue with bf4 crashing.
