Happens to me as well.
Newest AMD 13.11 Drivers. Windows 7 64 bit.
AMD APU 3870k Llano
7850 1GB GPU
8 GB Ram
This is running the dedicated card as GPU. Finally with the latest drivers it will run medium settings at a decent fps, but it crashes so often its unplayable. (half of every game launches, within 10 mins into a game otherwise) Seems to happen when spawning in or in firefights the worst for me.

go to BF4 folder .\origin\g games\battlefield 4 open .\installer\directx\redist right click dxsetup.exe run as admin
complete install

Guys, I was getting the same crappy freeze issue before touching my GPU settings.
So I underclocked the core and memory clocks by 10% using MSI Afterburner. Afterwards for I could play for 2 rounds straight. Before the underclock, I lasted 10-15 mins max only...
