Yepp - Can confirm, after 12/3 patch I still get the same sound loop crash on every map except Operation Locker....
OK, after no help from EA and being lied to about having a "Specialist" contact me in 48 hours (3 times this claim was made), I have found the connectivity issue fix for me not being able to connect at all. It may be related to getting bumped as well.
Here it is:
c://users/yourwindowsaccountname/MyDocuments/Battlefield4/Settings/PROFSAVE_profile
DELETE that file and restart Origin. This is somehow directly related to server connectivity.
