The Mission you fall out the drivers door of the vehicle you are given a M32 Gernade Launcher you must destroy the helicopter and then it will crash infront of you were you will do a roll over into the ocean. I'm really unsure I don't believe it's a bug you may want to restart that mission from the start and try it again. Ultimately this doesn't sound like a bug unless it's recent in a patch to the game which isn't likely they are more concintrated on the Multiplayer aspect of the game.
