Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Causes Computer to Freeze on Start Up
I used to be able to run Battlefield 4 with no problem at all. However when I tried starting the game up today, July 18, 2014, it would cause my computer to freeze. I'd select to join a server, the game would connect, and then in the loading screen my game would become unresponsive. Looking at my system it seems to be a memory problem, large amounts of Modified Memory is created and total memory used gets to near 100%. When this happens my computer becomes unresponsive and I am forced to do a hard shutdown.
Note: This problem persists only for Battlefield 4 multiplayer only. It can run Battlefield 4 Single Player perfectly fine. (My memory usage only runs at about 50% when I do so) In addition Battlefield 3 Multiplayer works fine.
From what research I could find this sounds similar to a Memory Leak problem that others are having with the game. However their problem allows them to play a few matches before their memory hits 100% and their computers freeze, mine does so on initial boot up.
Listed below are my technical specifications
OS: Window's 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor (3.60 GHz)
RAM: 10GB
Graphic Card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Update: After playing around with trying to fix the game I have found out that I have the ability to join servers with no people on them. Once on a friend was able to join me while my computer ran stable. I then decided to try a server with six people on it but unfortunately encoutnered the same problem as described.
