Battlefield 4 Not finding any servers error code

Still the same, clearly this is on EA server side as other multiplayer games from Activision and ubisoft work perfectly for me...the fact that one of the servers has the name EA please fix servers, says it all... It's all over the net aswell, but ah well, pointing to Microsoft is easier then just opening up the server browser and see for yourself, Bf4 and bf1 are just unplayable right now with no server capacity, people who pay for their servers haven't been able to use them for 3 days now.. No answers about a solution... And have the right to refund by EU laws...

Why would you mark this thread as solved? EA has a major outage affecting a massive amount of users.. mostly all of them have no clue whats going on or that EA has acknowledged a problem.

This is extremely poor handling of the situation and demonstrates a serious lack of respect for your paying customers.

I agree, if this was battlefield 5, this was fixed and acknowledged before we could blink with our eyes, in my opinion EA handled this wrong and arrogant, since a lot of people I spoke on discord and server owners I know got the same copy paste answers that nothing was wrong on EA side at first, before investigating the matter.

In my opinion the server owners should be compensated.

In the end without paying customers, and happy customers you are nothing in this world.

Seen this issue the past 3-days on XBox One X, XBox One S, and XBox Series-X.

Getting "Error 1", servers with queues saying there are 84+ people waiting in line (no way that can be true), and just random disconnects mid-game if/when I do happen to get into a server.

Still seeing issue this morning. Not solved.

The teams are investigating the issue with these servers meanwhile on Ea it still shows as working 🤣 oh well 

Same,  in North America on Xbox One. Quick match doesn't work, getting one of two error codes every time. It seems like only a handful of servers are working since the queue line for each one is quite long in the server browser. Been going on since Thursday, I've seen queues of 99+ people. Why would the thread be marked as solved if the issue is ongoing?

Same here no servers a allowing me to join and the few that are active have insane queues.

What is a reasonable e\expectation on delivery of a solution?

Will server renters be compensated for the time loss?

We are quickly approaching a week of down time.

Now as massive fans of the franchise, many of us have come back to BF4 full time to prepare for the release of 2042. I would hope EA takes this seriously, I realize this game has probably been pushed to a legacy systems type team, but there still should be some priority attached to providing a fix. Some transparency would be greatly appreciated.

Another Xbox user here.    Same errors as above.  Earlier today I uninstalled and reinstalled and played a game.   Came on tonight to see that BF4 said it had updated ( said it on the menu screen). I rebooted and can't play, so maybe something to do with a stealth update?

Just for everybody's information, then we have same issue also on the PlayStation platform!

And its nothing new.  Its been simmering affecting smaller groups or a bigger groups of players since January.

I have tried to explain the technical aspects of this to EA Support.  We also had one technical EA rep that did engage.

And his last message was that they were aware of the technical shortcomings but they had no fix to it.

The root cause is at Server end, not the user clients!

We are many server owners that have kept complaining about this, but nothing serious is actually ever done about it.

BF4 is a dying specie and it is as it is...  So yes, the message that EA terminated any further development/maintenance of this game came out 3+ years back now.  But the actual consequences of that have been spoon fed in casual piece meals.  And the poor support people we can contact knows absolutely nothing and can do nothing about the true technical trouble we often experience with the servers and the game client.  It is a 7+ year old game and despite it is still a blast to play, it's time for it's retirement.  So much looking forward to the BF2042 Portal gameplay!

EA purchased the alleged third party company that handles the servers, so they still have or at least should have a reason to act, unless they truly don't care
