Battlefield 4 Not Starting Game, but Showing Up As Playing.

EDIT: For some reason the video I originally had in the post are gone, so Here The Link to it

So I'm having issues running the game through the Battlelog where the game will say "Online in Battlefield 4" but no window comes up (one comes up for a split second and closes itself which is shown at 1:44 in the video).  The game comes up in task manager but as a background process instead of an app that is able to be opened (shown at 1:58) .   This also happens in any mode I try to play whether it be a test range map, campaign or even a multiplayer map.  On multiplayer games, I've even gotten screenshots from my friends that are playing on the same servers that I'm in game but not doing anything since I can't open the game window.

I've already looked around the forums and Answers HQ but all of the various fixes have not worked.  Here's what I've tried already:

-Restart my computer (of course)

-Uninstall and Reinstalled the game

-Uninstall and Reinstalled Origin (both normal and beta versions)

-Checked various APIs for new versions and installed any (.NET Framework, C++ Redistributable, DirectX, etc.)

-Ran each of the .exe. files in the game files in compatibility mode for windows 7 and as administrator (shown at 4:00)

-Uninstall and Reinstalled Punkbuster alone

-Done a registry edit to add "%1" to the default class as mentioned in this video (yes I know it's for battlefield 3, but I was linked to this video from a previous forum post saying that this worked

-EDIT: I've also completely turned off my windows firewall to see if that was having any affect on it, and still the same issue.

My PC Specs are as follows:

-i5-4690k @ 4.2ghz

-Radeon R7 370 4gb

-32gb of ram

-Windows 10 64-bit

None of the above has worked for my game and I'm still unable to play.  Any help with my issue is appreciated.

P.S. The game worked before and I was able to play campaign, but completely broke on the second mission in Shanghai where I fell through the bottom of the Elevator (also mentioned in the beginning of the first video).

Here's the video for this issue also

Set your default browser to IE. (So BF4 opens it and logs you in)

Open BF4. So it opens Battlelog in IE.

Go to Settings (drop down from your portrait on the top right)

Go to Game Launch, change it to USE Plugin

Try to join a game (it will fail)

Exit BF4, close IE, enter task manager, kill any BF4 processes

Go to your Documents folder, Delete BF4 (this will delete your settings, but its not like they are doing you any good).

    Load up BF4 again...

    Join a server...

    Success!

    .... Or sort of.

Left a game, tried to join another, and it screwed up again. Deleting BF4 settings fixed it.

  • I am having the exact same issue. Game is loading as a background process, not as an app, with no way to get into game.

I don't remember having this happen before the W10 anniversary update.

    Latest Drivers, Clean W10 install.

    Asus X-99 A-II

    GTX 1080

    32gb DD4

    512gb NVMe SSD

@Chett-Manly-OOO This worked but after the game, I have to delete my settings again to fix it.  So each time I want to play I have to redo all of my settings.  Any way we could fix this issue?

@HanicIzKanio just after deleting file don't change ingame settings such as API Graphics (dx11-mantle) or Displaymode (fullscreen/windowed/borderless)
